[ OOC: As a side note, that sewing kit is actually official merchandise. It’s got Kanji’s flaming skull printed on the front and the inside foam pincushion has a sticker with the character for “Tatsumi” on it. A friend of ours picked it up for us in Japan, it’s super cute!! ]

I read the perfect description of genderbend!Kanji and wanted to try drawing her. Random headcanon: because her father died, she helps with all the heavy loading at the textile store and is pretty well-built as a result. But whenever the ladies come by to buy cloth, they tsk over her having to do “men’s work” and she gets so embarrassed over it now she hates it whenever anyone mentions stuff like that to her.
